Compagnie Des Alpes
Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) is a French company that operates ski resorts and theme parks. The company is known for operating several leisure parks across Europe, including Parc Astérix, Futuroscope, and Walibi parks. CDA has a significant impact on the tourism and leisure industries, both regionally in the Alps and more broadly across Europe. The company's operations contribute to the economic development of the regions where its resorts and parks are located, often driving both direct and indirect employment
CHALLENGE
Support CDA on the transitioning to an 'easy factory', a shared component library, for the website (and mobile apps) of 8 different theme parks.
The primary goal was to increase the number of users who reach the sales funnel. Other goals:
Create an improved user experience for visitors
Improve the internal experience for the parks (marketing teams)
Respect each brand and sales approach
Have the new website & app templates ready by February 2024.
Creation of desktop/mobile wireframes to simplify the experience for the user, making it easier to purchase tickets and communicate upcoming marketing promo events for visitors. UX upgrade of Walibi's native mobile app, which is used by visitors when visiting the park to navigate the park well.
We managed to create a consistent and coherent design system to design and develop all the screens fast and efficiently. We have created 50+ components to be then applied by the parks to create their websites in a consistent, UX friendly design and possibility to maintain the system easily in the future.
